1. What subject do you think is more important (science or social studies) and why?

I really could not choose. They both are super important subjects.

2. What subject do you like to teach better: science or social studies? Why?

Social studies is the topic that I’ve always taught to all of the 1st graders. I enjoy history and like teaching kids what it takes to be a good citizen.

3. What is your favorite movie? Who is your favorite actor and actress?

My favorite movie is Pay It Forward. My favorite actor is Hume Cronin. My favorite actress is Jessica Tandy.

4. Have you ever been in a movie or play? If so what was it and what was your experience acting? 

No- But I do think that it would enjoy acting- maybe in the local Waterloo- Valley theater.

1.     What subject do you think is more important (science or social studies) and why?

I don’t think one is more important than the other.  I think we learn different and exciting things in both.

2.     What subject do you like to teach better: social studies or science? Why?

Miss Kahlandt and I team teach in Social Studies and Science.  I teach the science because I have losts of materials to use in our units.  I am excited that we are looking at new science materials for next year.

3.     What is your favorite movie? Who is your favorite actor and actress?

My favorite movie is Pretty Woman.  My favorite actress is Julia Roberts and my favorite actress is Harrison Ford.

4.     Have you ever been in a movie or play? If so, what was it and what was your experience?

I was in A Christmas Carol.  I was the girl Scrooge was going to marry.  It was scary performing for the entire student body.
