Mrs. Karloff

1. What subject do you think is more important (science or social studies) and why?

I could not possibly justify choosing one over the other. Both science and social studies are very important to education.

2. What subject do you like to teach better: social studies or science? Why?

Personally I would be more interested in teaching science because of the hands-on learning that takes place. When I was a classroom teacher, I always enjoyed watching my students participate in experiments and discover the results for themselves. Science is a wonderful way to use the hands-on approach in teaching.

3. What is your favorite movie? Who is your favorite actor and actress?

This is probably the hardest question for me to answer. I can't say that I have a favorite movie. I am not one to sit for an extended amount of time, and it is not often that I take time to watch an entire movie. As for a favorite actor or actress, I would have to choose John Wayne.

4. Have you ever been in a movie or play? If so, what was it and what was your experience acting?

No, acting was not my thing. I mostly focused on sports and my animals while growing up.
