Mrs. Timm, Resource Teacher

1.What subject do you think is more important (science or social studies) and why?

I like social studies better, but I do feel science will become more important to learn in the future.  We will need to learn more about alternate forms of energy, preserving the land, water and atmosphere on Earth. We will also need to learn about using the sun, ocean, technology, etc.

2.What subject do you like to teach better: social studies or science?

I like to teach social studies.  I feel it's very interesting to learn about history and all the events that have taken place during the history of mankind.  I feel we can learn from the past and all the good and bad things that have happened throughout history.

3.What is your favorite movie?  Who is your favorite actor and actress?

Gone with the Wind with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh is a favorite.  Since this is from the "olden days", I do like Johnny Depp, Kiefer Sutherland, Brad Pitt, and Bruce Willis for todays actors.  I like Julia Roberts and Sandra Oh as actresses.

4.Have you ever been in a movie or play?  If so, what was it and what was your experience acting?

Yes, I was Emily in the Our Town when I was in high school.  Acting was fun and exciting, but always made me very nervous.
